As a percussionist, composer and improviser, Linda Edsjö mixes her music with other art forms such as dance, text, video and theatre.
She has interpreted a
great number of pieces, including personal commissions and premieres of
both
chamber music and solo-works (Juliana Hodkinson, Sven David
Sandström, Eblis
Alvarez, Simon Christensen, Ejnar Kanding etc.) and she has a extensive
existing repertoire for percussion.
She has created music
for choreographed pieces and events, and is currently working with
storytellers,
composing and performing music for their stories.
She has made many
recordings in a wide and varied range of genres, and has released a
record of
her own compositions with the duo Susa.
In 2010 she graduated
from the soloist program at the Royal Academy of Copenhagen.
